Prime Minister: “Florenia stands with Israel”
Electorate of Ashany – Today, following the news that the militant organization Hamas had broken its ceasefire with Israel and likely kidnapped an Israeli soldier, the Prime Minister made a statement expressing and pledging unequivocal support for Israel;
I, this government, and the entirety of the Kingdom of Florenia stands with the Israeli people and Israeli government in the execution of Operation Protective Edge and the termination of the tunnels that violate their sovereignty. Our support is 100% with the Israelis and the IDF.
The Prime Minister is one of four Israeli citizens who live in the Kingdom, the others being the King, and Princes Henry and Zachary. All of the members of the King’s family are also Israeli citizens, and the King’s cousins on both his mother’s and father’s sides have lived in Israel their entire lives. “We are Israeli,” said the Prime Minister, “and we will not surrender our heritage and allow Israelis to be endangered and targeted.”
The Prime Minister also remarked that none of the royal family’s relatives living in Israel had been injured, and it has not been released by the Israeli government if any are currently deployed as a part of the operation.
The Duchess of Southbury was born in British Palestine, the daughter of Polish zionists. The Duke of Southbury immigrated from Romania following the Holocaust and Communist take over of that country. They subsequently met while serving in the IDF, married, and had The Duchess of Milton and the King before moving to the United States.
The Prime Minister continued that the entire Kingdom is anxiously awaiting the return of 2nd Lieutenant Hadar Goldin, and that the government has faith that Israel will retrieve him at all costs.
The Prime Minister quoted Golda Meir in his remarks;
We can forgive the Arabs for killing our children. We can never forgive them for forcing us to kill their children. We will only have peace with the Arabs when they love their children more than they hate us.
